First, planting time

Its approximate planting time is when it starts to grow other vegetables, which is the best season to grow it, that is, the best planting in spring.

II. Planting requirements

1. The right temperature

It likes cool weather, so it doesn't require too much temperature. It usually grows well at 5 to 35 degrees Celsius, and its adaptability is very strong, but the temperature between 10 and 25 degrees is the best. In addition, if the temperature exceeds 30 degrees, it will go into a dormant state. When the temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius, its branches will wither, and its tubers can be dug up and buried in sand and replanted next year.

2. Suitable growth environment

It likes light very much, so it should choose a place where the light lasts for a long time to plant. At the same time, it is not resistant to drought and afraid of moisture. In the south, there are always more Rain Water, so when choosing to plant, we must choose sandy soil that is loose and well drained.

3. Planting methods

1. Ramet planting

If the ramet method is used to grow it, first of all, its lumpy roots should be taken out from March to April every year, and then the roots should be separated, and there should be 2 to 4 terminal buds on each root, otherwise there is no way to grow new plants. After that, apply plant ash to the split roots to help the wound heal, and finally plant and water it, so that small buds can grow in about a week.

2. Cutting planting

First find the removed side branches, let the branches retain at least three sections, when cutting, let two sections stay in the ground, the other section stay on the ground, at the same time, after cutting must ensure the soil moisture and air humidity, so that it can take root as soon as possible.

3. Seed planting

When the seeds are harvested every autumn, you can choose to sow the seeds in March to April next year. Cover them with a thin layer of soil after the seeds are planted, and then water them with water. Small buds can grow in about a week or so. At this time, you must prevent strong light.
