The Chicago Department of Public Health launched the "healthy Chicago 2.0 Project" last year, hoping to improve "health inequality" (health disparities) and give low-income households the right to health food. One of the goals of the program is to improve people's physical health, disease prevention, mental health and reduce violence.

The Windy City Harvest Program (windy city harvest program), which has been implemented by the Chicago Botanical Garden for many years, has also been integrated into this inter-ministerial policy, which is a social service centered on urban agriculture. It is expected to establish a fresh and healthy food system in Chicago, train and employ young people who are willing to participate in urban agriculture for a long time, provide opportunities for young people to participate in social affairs, and solve youth employment, unemployment and social problems at the same time. (note: windy City is the alias of Chicago)
