At present, the overall construction progress of the MRT ring line built by the Taipei MRT Engineering Bureau has reached 90%, of which 17 brand-new-shaped electric vehicles providing convenient transport of passengers have all arrived at the Nanji factory and carried out various testing operations. It is officially announced that the whole team of the MRT ring line has been completed. At present, the power system of the ring line has completed the power supply of the whole line, the traffic control center has also been established, and it has been able to monitor the electric vehicle for automatic driving at the initial stage. In the future, various tests and system integration operations will continue to be carried out, and education and training will be carried out to the personnel of the Taipei MRT Company, which is expected to enter the commissioning smoothly and achieve the opening goal as soon as possible.

A total of 17 electric couplet cars are purchased on the MRT Ring Line (first stage), of which the prototype cars and the second train are manufactured by the original Italian factory, while the remaining 15 electric couplet cars are assembled by Taiwan vehicle Co., Ltd., a domestic electric car manufacturer. Since the prototype car was shipped across the sea from the original European and Italian factories to Taiwan on November 24, 105, it has opened the prelude to the mass production and assembly of electric vehicles in local production. The last train was also completed in July and left the factory after passing the factory test. The assembly schedule of 60 carriages of 15 trains has been achieved as scheduled, and all 17 trains have been delivered today, symbolizing that the MRT ring line has officially entered another important milestone.

The Taipei City Bureau of Rapid Transit said that after the ring line electric vehicle first set off from the Xindian South Machinery Factory to enter the main line on December 5, 106, a series of intensive tests were carried out, including acceleration to a maximum operating speed of 80 km / h under the maximum passenger load, and acceleration and deceleration performance tests with a maximum slope of 5.1%. The test results were qualified and verified that the performance of the car was good. The dynamic test of the signal system has also progressed to the self-driving high-speed automatic mode test, and the results are quite smooth.
