In 1984, he studied systematically the theory and creation of "moving Bonsai" under Master he Yisun. In May 2001, he was awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Bonsai Art Master".

The purpose of dynamic bonsai is to seek "movement" and show it in "potential". In the dynamic bonsai modeling, the contradiction between "dynamic" and "static" should be fully utilized. Master Xing's works are fresh in style and vivid in the shape of trees, as if they were blown by a strong wind, showing momentum and charm, making people feel shocking at first sight, and enduring for a long time, with branches ringing and pieces sounding. The combination of dynamic and static, repeated alternation, in which the secret changes are dry, which has a positive impact on the development of contemporary "dynamic bonsai". His representative works include "fight now", "Gu Shi Zan", "looking forward to the Future", "Yunfei", "Sunset Red" and other works, and all of them have won various awards.

While focusing on the creation of bonsai, Master Xing Jinke is also diligent in pen work, publishing a large number of bonsai production and professional papers published in newspapers and magazines such as Flower and Tree Bonsai, Jingmen Daily, etc. Not only that, Master Xing Jinke has been giving lectures and producing performances in Zhongxiang, Jingmen and Jingshan counties, and his valuable creative experience and theoretical insights have left a deep impression on his colleagues in the bonsai field.

Master Xing Jinke is simple and humble and frank, emphasizing that only by inheriting the essence of his predecessors and drawing lessons from overseas experience, can we better carry forward China's bonsai art and show Chinese bonsai to the world.

Approach Master Xing Jinke

Master Xing Jinke can be regarded as an expert in playing with the endemic tree species of white wax in Hubei Province. Zelin, Mingxiang, Xiaobing and I were invited to go to the master's house for a party on January 14, 2017. I had a lot of feelings all the way. Now I share with you the personal feelings of Master Xing who has studied and worked hard on bonsai art for many years. I share with you my personal feelings about creating and adhering to the advantages of bonsai local style.

The newly built bonsai garden is not finished yet, but the gilded sign of "Jingmen Bonsai Garden" on the gate is very dazzling.

We went straight to the theme of the bonsai garden, and before the end of the conversation between the host and the guest, we had reached the large and medium-sized bonsai base cultivated in the open field or semi-open field of about 10 mu of Master Xing. Although it is still planted on the ground, each piece of bonsai has been over-shaped, and the seemingly ordinary tree stump has been built by the owner for many years. In such a large number, we do not ask for help, do not miss the season, get up early and late in the morning, do it ourselves, and shape it at the same time. The branches are vigorous, vigorous and powerful, the shape of each piece is guided according to the situation, and the composition is extraordinary. There is a picture to prove it.

If you take a closer look, there are two remarkable things about the bonsai made by Master Xing:

1. There is no color difference between new and old branches, and the skin color of branches is too natural.

2. There is no reverse branch in the branch. (the upper thick and lower thin or expansion joints, which is not only the technical difficulty to control the excessive growth of stem branches, but also a common fault of the nodes. Therefore, in the growing period, we should often observe the excessive proportion between stem and branches, so as to cut or cut off at the right time. It is very difficult to do this. Master Xing has done this piece well, which is not what ordinary people do.)

Master Xing Jinke has created a number of excellent bonsai works because of his love and tireless pursuit of bonsai art for decades. Since I learned from teacher he Yisun, the artistic attainments of bonsai have gained Samadhi. Master Xing kept a low profile, not only worked hard in his own bonsai world, but also made selfless contributions to the development of bonsai art in surrounding provinces and cities. In 2001, he was awarded the title of "Master of Chinese Bonsai Art" by Chinese Landscape Architecture Society. We hope that Master Xing Jinke will go further on the road of inheriting and developing bonsai art in China.
