Last Updated: 2024/11/05, First, rational chemical control. Before flowering (around the beginning of May), each big tree was topdressing 0.5 kg urea and 0.25 kg urea per tree, and the compound fertilizer of N, P and K was applied again at the young fruit development period after flowering (mid-late June), about 0.75 kg per tree. Spray 10~50ppm gibberellin solution at the early stage of flowering or in full bloom.

First, rational chemical control. Before flowering (around the beginning of May), each big tree was topdressing 0.5 kg urea and 0.25 kg urea per tree, and the compound fertilizer of N, P and K was applied again at the young fruit development period after flowering (mid-late June), about 0.75 kg per tree. Spraying 10~50ppm gibberellin solution at the early flowering stage or 0.3% borax solution at the flowering stage could significantly increase the fruit setting rate. Second, irrigate before flowering and spray water during flowering. If the soil is too dry before flowering, it should be irrigated in time to ensure stable fruit setting. Spraying water every 2-3 days during the full flowering period of jujube can promote pollination and fertilization and increase the rate of fruit setting. Third, release bees in the jujube garden. Jujube flower is a typical insect-pollinated flower, releasing bees during flowering can increase the fruit setting rate, generally putting 1 box of bees in every 6-10 mu jujube orchard.
