Anthurium andraeanum stem nodes short; oblong-cordate or ovoid-cordate. Petiole slender, spawn flat, leathery and waxy luster, orange or scarlet; fleshy inflorescences yellow, but blossoming all the year round. Bright red makes people feel bright, and it can also absorb the exhaust gas from the human body, absorb all kinds of harmful gases (formaldehyde, etc.), and keep the air moist at the same time. So how can Anthurium andraeanum be raised?

One: soil matrix

Anthurium andraeanum potted plants should choose the substrate with good drainage, and the compound substrate of peat, perlite and sand can be used to buy the configured culture soil directly if it is troublesome. If you want the soil to maintain good permeability, drainage can be mixed with some ceramsite.

Second: watering

Watering should be considered according to the plant size of Anthurium andraeanum itself. if your Anthurium andraeanum is still small, spray water 2-3 times a day after planting, always keep the matrix moist and urge it to draw more new roots early. If the plants grow fast and need more water in the middle and big seedling stage, the water supply must be sufficient. Anthurium likes to be warm, hot and humid, so keeping relatively high air humidity is the key to keeping Anthurium andraeanum. You can increase air humidity by spraying around. In the high temperature season, it is usually watered every 2-3 days, and a sprayer is used to spray water on the leaf surface at noon to increase the relative humidity in the room. Watering in the cold season should be carried out between 9 am and 4 pm to avoid frostbite to the roots.

Three: temperature

The suitable day temperature and night temperature of Anthurium andraeanum are 26-32 ℃ and 21-32 ℃ respectively. The summer temperature should not exceed 35 ℃. If it exceeds the recommended temperature, lower the temperature by spraying water around you. It is safe to survive the winter by keeping it at about 14 ℃ in winter.

Four: lighting

Anthurium likes semi-overcast environment, the light should be moderate, and can be maintained in the semi-shade of bright astigmatism. If there is too little light for plants to photosynthesize, malnutrition may affect growth. When the light is too strong, part of the leaves of the plant will become warm, which may cause discoloration, burns or scorching of the leaves. Especially in summer, we must pay attention to shade. The requirement of light is low during flowering.

Five: humidity

Anthurium andraeanum growth needs relatively high temperature and high humidity, when the air temperature is below 20 ℃, it can be maintained indoors normally; when the temperature reaches above 28 ℃, it must be sprayed or humidified to increase the relative humidity of indoor air.
