Although flower cultivation is becoming more and more popular, flower cultivation is also a technical activity. Only by mastering the skills of flower cultivation can we grow better. Only when the root system grows well, the potted plant will grow better. Soil is the root of the plant. Only good soil can give birth to plant growth better, but it is easy to harden after a long time in the pot soil, which is not conducive to the growth of flowers.

Why is the soil easy to harden?

The soil nutrients in the flowerpot are limited. When humus and other nutrients are absorbed by flowers, the basin soil will become barren, and the barren soil is prone to hardening. After soil consolidation, the plant root system can not breathe normally. Naturally, it is easy to lead to rotten roots, yellow leaves and other phenomena.

1. Organic manure

After the soil hardens, loosen the basin soil first, and then do not water it for a day. The next day, you can spread the rotten bean cake powder or animal manure evenly on the surface of the basin soil, not too much on the thin layer, and then spray some water on it. Let the dry fertilizer and soil mix together, so that the soil will slowly soften, and can also provide nutrition for flowers and plants when watering.

This is precisely because the dry fertilizer ferments slowly on the surface of the basin soil, softening the originally consolidated soil and providing some nutrients for the soil, so there is no need to change the soil. However, this method can not be used often, just use it two or three times a year.

two。 Sand column method

Another relatively simple method is to insert a hole in the flowerpot, bury a few thicker straws in it, and then add fine sand to the habit. After pulling out the straw, several sand columns will be formed in the basin soil, which can be watered on the sand column when watering, so that the sand can spread the water in all directions, which can also play the role of loosening the soil.

Of course, taking effective measures after soil consolidation can improve this situation, but usually we can take more preventive measures:

1. Drying tap water

Fresh tap water contains a certain amount of chlorine and bleach, which is also the main factor causing soil hardening. It is best to dry the flowers before watering them.

two。 Use less chemical fertilizer

The best way to grow flowers is to use fermented organic fertilizer, which can play a role in loosening the soil in the process of decomposition.
