This kind of soil is very breathable, and the filled plant material can slowly release humic acid and other nutrients, moderate weight, the key is cheap, but may not be as durable as pure particles, but for adult succulent plants, the effect of coarse granular soil is really good.

Some people say that the basin should not be watered immediately, while others say that it must be thoroughly watered once, which is also different according to personal experience. But I still prefer to pour some water on the basin, according to my mother, it is called "root water", and then put it in a cool, ventilated and astigmatic place for a week to let it grow roots, and a week later it can be taken out for normal care. Of course, if you choose the tide soil on the basin, it is best not to water it for the first three days.

Volcanic rocks are incompatible with plant roots, which can be considered as paving or basin bottom. it is best not to use them as soil compounds. if the cost is not taken into account, phytolith and green zeolite should be the best soil ingredients. The Maifan stone used for succulent plants on the market is actually a kind of granite, but there are also many fresh grayish-white granite slags. After careful observation, we can see that the surface of the particles reflects light. This kind of fresh rock has no effect of absorbing water and breathable. It is difficult to release mineral nutrients. It is not conducive to succulent plant root respiration, so to use that kind of highly weathered granite.

Quite a number of succulent plant varieties are relatively pocket-sized, and their growth is relatively slow and will not grow as big as radish and lettuce in a short period of time, so the demand for fertilizer in the soil is also very limited. there is no need to change the soil every year. Some varieties can only be planted with relatively poor soil. For example, Shanyingquan, an ornamental variety petrified and mutated by some columnar cactus plants, is prone to atavism if cultivated in fertile basin soil. grow that kind of tall and straight columnar stem, which will seriously damage its ornamental.
