1. Bait trapping method

Monopterus Albus likes to feed at night. So, Trapping rice field eel with bait is usually carried out at night. The method is as follows: at the feeding station every day, the net or the mesh of 3-6 square meters of polyethylene fine mesh can be placed flat in the bottom of the pool, and then the bait that the rice field eel likes to eat is sprinkled into the middle of the net. Cover it with a layer of straw mat or broken net, lure the rice field eel into the net by itself, wait for about 20-30 minutes, then raise the four corners of the net at the same time, and then remove the cover casually. Then use the sea to catch the living ricefield eel into the eel basket. The fishing rate of this method can reach 60%. If you want to catch young eel, you can put the feed in the straw bag and put it in the feeding place. Ricefield eel will slowly drill into the straw bag. At this time, you can take out the straw bag: you can also put 3-4 dried-up old towel gourd on every square meter of water. After 15-20 minutes, the young eel will drill into the towel gourd by itself, as long as the towel gourd is taken out.

2. Net capture method

When capturing rice field eel in captivity, summer flower fish net can be used to catch it. However, this kind of mesh should be dense, the mesh should be soft, it is not easy to damage the fish, and the capture effect is good. When fishing, put the aquatic plants in the pond together in the net, when the water comes up, the aquatic plants are first put forward, and the rice field eel is left in the net. If all are caught, the whole net can be used for 1-2 times, and then the water can be drained to catch the whole pool of ricefield eels.

3. Hook-catching method

Ricefield eel often hides in the hole in summer, and its head sticks out of the hole from time to time. At this point, you can take a fishing rod, pull off one wing of the gadfly live bait, install it on the hook, put the hook on the water at the mouth of the hole, and the gadfly will keep spinning on the surface of the water. As soon as the rice field eel is frightened, it will immediately sneak into the hole. Now, wait patiently, the eel will slowly stick its head out of the hole, peep at the eel bait, and then suddenly swallow the bait and withdraw back into the hole. At this time, you can take the hook and the eel out of the hole together, and then gently remove the eel from the hook at any time and put it into the eel basket. At the same time, the worm craftsman worm can be pierced on the eel hook and put into the hole to lure the rice field eel to eat the hook. after the rice field eel is hooked, the rice field eel is immediately taken out of the water and put into the fish basket. The fishing rate by using the hook method can reach 50% and 70%.

4. Cage capture method

There are many ways to catch ricefield eel, but it is simple and easy to catch yellow eel in cage, and the harvest is great.

(1) the production of the trap: bamboo strips with barbs are woven into bamboo cages with a height of 30-40 cm and a diameter of about 15 cm at both ends, the bottom mouth is closed, the upper mouth is open, and the caliber should be extended into the hand to facilitate the capture of ricefield eel. At the lower end of the cage, 5-8 pieces of bamboo are woven and a small inverted moustache is formed, about 5 cm in diameter, so that Monopterus Albus can freely enter from the outside without getting out of the cage.

(2) production of bait: use a bamboo tube with a length of about 20-30 cm and a diameter of 6-8 cm. Do not break through the internodes at the bottom of the bamboo tube so as not to miss the bait. Around the height of 5-6 cm, open several slits of 6-7 cm. These slits are called bait windows.
