The market price of ricefield eel is higher in winter every year, especially the large size eel is very popular, its selling price is as high as 70 yuan per kilogram. The golden period from May to November is the fattening period of Monopterus Albus. Choose the fattening eel seedlings, supply sufficient and nutritious feed, do a good job in daily management such as water quality, temperature control, feeding, disease prevention and so on. After about 6 months of fattening, Monopterus Albus can gain 3% weight? The specification of eel can generally reach more than 150 grams, its market price is high, and the economic benefit is very remarkable.

First, choose eel

The size of eel seedlings used for artificial fattening should be slightly larger, and the weight of a single eel should be more than 30ml / 40g. Generally, you can directly buy artificially propagated commercial eel seedlings or purchase local wild eel. At present, the reproduction of Monopterus Albus adopts the method of "natural reproduction". Due to the particularity of the reproduction of Monopterus Albus, there is no commercial eel fry for mass reproduction in China, and the fattening eel seedling is mainly derived from the acquisition of wild eel.

The eel seedlings used for fattening should buy eel seedlings caught by cage, aquatic plants, bare hands and electric traps. The purchased eel seedlings should avoid unscientific and long-term storage of eel catchers, so as not to cause fever, cold or infection of eels. After the purchased eel seedlings are eliminated from injury, disability, weakness and disease, first put into the observation pool and gradually use "Eel Bao 2"; "Eel Baoxin 5", "Eel Baoxin 4" and multivitamins The diseases and insect pests of Monopterus Albus were treated with drugs such as "Eel Bao 6" and "Eel Bao 1" to ensure the health of eel seedlings as fattening objects.

Second, fattening feed

Ricefield eel eels eat less, but have higher requirements for protein, and have a special preference for earthworms, maggots and so on. Extensive use of pig manure, cow manure, chicken manure and other livestock and poultry manure, after adding EM bacteria fermentation, a large number of earthworms and maggots are raised. The aseptic earthworms and fly maggots produced not only cater to the feeding habits of Monopterus Albus, provide better animal bait for domestication, but also provide cheap high-protein feed, which can greatly reduce the fattening cost and increase the fattening profit. Other animal bait can also choose to use small fish and shrimp, field snail, clam, animal viscera and so on.

The fattening feed uses the combination of animal bait and fish feed, and do not use a single animal bait such as earthworms and maggots for fattening, otherwise the feed conversion rate is low and the fattening cycle increases, which will affect the fattening results. The formula feed uses animal feed 50% Mel 60%, fish feed 40% Mel 50%, and the amount of concentrated feed accounts for 1% of fish feed. Fish feed can directly purchase feed containing more than 30% protein such as carp feed, eel feed, river ball feed or frog feed, and add animal bait such as earthworms, concentrated feed and adhesive to produce soft ball or soft strip feed. Specific method: crush the fish, add the ground earthworms and other animal bait and concentrated feed, then add a small amount of adhesive and appropriate amount of water to mix well on the machine, use a meat grinder (prepare 3Mel 5mm mold hole, choose to use according to the size of rice field eel) into thin strip feed, hang it for a while, turn it gently with your hand, so that the longer strip can be naturally disconnected. Small-scale eel can be raised by mixing balls: crushed fish add chopped earthworms and other animal bait, then add concentrated food and a small amount of binder and add the right amount of water to form a ball. The animal feed can also be crushed and mixed with adhesive, concentrated feed and an appropriate amount of water to form a paste, and then the pellet fish feed can be directly poured into the pellet feed to form a ball-like compound feed. If there is a lack of animal feed, the eel can be domesticated with limited animal feed, and then gradually added to the fish feed until all the fish feed is fed.
