The positive list system (Positive list system) is a new system developed by Japan to strengthen the residue management of agrochemicals (including pesticides, veterinary drugs and feed additives) in food (including edible agricultural products, the same below). The system requires that the content of agrochemicals in food shall not exceed the MRL standard; for agrochemicals that do not have a MRL standard, their content in food shall not exceed the uniform standard, that is, 0.01 mg / kg. The system was implemented on 29 May 2006. The order inspection item of tea is: triazophos (0.05ppm). The frequently detected ingredient is octachlorodipropyl ether.

Suspension and restriction of pesticides for tea exported to the European Union

The new EU standard for pesticide MRL in tea in 2003 was promulgated on December 16, 2002. A total of 193 MRL standards for pesticides in tea were issued this time, which was 59 more than the 134items issued on July 25, 2001. among the 193 standards, instrument minimum detection (LOD) was adopted as the standard, accounting for 93.8% of the total, indicating that the EU standards in 2003 were further stringent. Therefore, it is recommended to continue to ban the use of fenvalerate, cis-fenvalerate, dicofol, methamidophos, DDT, BHC and acephate.
