At present, the basic means of pest control in agricultural production mainly rely on chemical pesticides, but the long-term uncontrolled use of pesticides has brought many side effects, one is the emergence of drug resistance of insect pests, resulting in the continuous increase of drug dosage and concentration, the cost is increasing year by year, and the control is becoming more and more difficult. The second is to destroy the ecological balance, and while preventing and controlling pests, a large number of natural enemies are killed, causing rampant damage to secondary pests; third, polluting the environment, a large number of pesticides remain in crops, soil, rivers, lakes and seas, and are enriched in the human body in the form of food chain, causing harm to human beings again. Therefore, at present, relevant research departments at home and abroad are making great efforts to explore and study new ways and technologies for pest control, including the development of new, efficient, low-toxic and low-residue chemical insecticides; utilization of natural enemy insects and microbial pesticides; insect sterilization technology and application of insect hormones Among them, people pay more and more attention to the use of insect hormones, especially insect sex pheromones for pest control.

Pheromone is a general term for compounds that play a role in chemical communication between organisms, and it is a chemical molecular language for insect communication. Including: altruism, egoism, synergy, collection pheromone, tracking pheromone, alarm pheromone, evacuation pheromone, sex pheromone. In nature, after sexual maturity, female adults of pests release a compound called sex pheromone, which spreads with the airflow after it is released into the air, stimulating the chemical sensory organs in the antennae of males, causing individual sexual impulses in males and inducing males to fly to the release source, and mate with released females to reproduce. Therefore, insect sex attractant products are bionic high-tech products, which release synthetic sex pheromones through luring cores.
