Last Updated: 2024/11/06, From the perspective of the whole growth period of Chinese cabbage, it has to go through three stages: seedling stage, rosette stage and heart stage. Chinese cabbage absorbs less nutrients at seedling stage, accounting for only 10%, and rosette stage accounts for 30%. During this period, production should control water and fertilizer, especially nitrogen fertilizer, so that Chinese cabbage leaves grow slowly, which is also called squatting seedling stage. It can't be caused by too much moisture.

From the perspective of the whole growth period of Chinese cabbage, it has to go through three stages: seedling stage, rosette stage and heart stage. The vegetable leaves should not be allowed to grow and stand upright with too much water, but should be made to grow close and flat like the rosette. Only in the heading stage can the leaves be tight, high yield and good quality. Early irrigation and nitrogen application in the rosette stage will cause excessive growth of leaves, large leaves and unsound hearts. Partial application of nitrogen fertilizer, lack of phosphorus and potassium nutrients will cause false heart; Chinese cabbage rosette stage to control water and nitrogen, lay a good foundation for the heart, early watering and nitrogen application will cause false heart.
