Effect of sulfur deficiency on rape

The formation of chlorophyll in rapeseed was affected by sulfur deficiency, the leaves were yellowish green and the plant growth was poor. Sulfur deficiency limits protein synthesis and reduces the relative content of sulfur-containing amino acids. The leaf veins of sulfur deficient plants showed lack of green, but the leaf veins remained the original green, the flower color became lighter, the yellow one became white, and the flowering continued continuously, the pod ripening was inconsistent, and in the case of severe sulfur deficiency, the stem became shorter and harder.
