Effect of sulfur on the quality of rapeseed

Sulfur is very important to rape yield and quality, sulfur fertilizer effect is very good in sulfur-deficient areas. The yield and oil content of rapeseed could be increased by applying sulfur fertilizer, but the degree of increase was related to nitrogen application rate and other factors. Sulphur fertilizer can greatly increase the content of glucosinolate in rape seeds. Sulfur application can increase oil content in sulfur deficiency, but large sulfur application can decrease oil content.
