Last Updated: 2024/11/09, There are many misunderstandings in greenhouse vegetable management.

(agricultural get Rich Network) misunderstanding one: more fertilization, more output. Many vegetable farmers fertilize a lot of vegetable fields in the greenhouse in order to produce more. In fact, too much fertilization will lead to reverse osmosis and death of the root system, and the yield will decline or grow poorly. The solutions are as follows: first, in the greenhouse that has been planted for more than 3 years, the chicken and cow manure are each controlled within 2500 kg, and the amount of chemical fertilizer is reduced by about 50%; the second is to pay attention to the application of cow dung, humic acid fertilizer and biological bacterial fertilizer to improve the ratio of soil carbon to nitrogen, loosen soil air, remove salt and reduce fertilizer damage; the third is to supplement boron, zinc and magnesium fertilizer and balance soil nutrition.

Misunderstanding 2: leave a lot of seedlings, high yield. Many vegetable farmers tend to keep more seedlings and think that more seedlings can produce high yields. In fact, only sparse planting can produce high yield because of low temperature, weak light, poor photosynthesis and low carbohydrate synthesis in winter. Solutions: first, reasonable sparse planting of overwintering vegetables is better; second, in order to make full use of space, we can adopt the management methods of close planting in the early stage, thinning plants in the middle stage and thinning branches in the later stage, and take the uncrowded leaves and branches as the standard to improve the total yield and total benefit.

Myth 3: if the temperature is high, it grows fast. Many vegetable farmers believe that the purpose of building a greenhouse is to keep warm. Vegetables grow faster when the temperature is high. In fact, vegetables have an upper limit on temperature, which is generally 25 ℃ ~ 32 ℃. If the temperature is too high, the respiration is high, the operation and physiological activities of the body are disordered, the plants grow excessively, and the branches and reproductive growth are not balanced, the yield will decrease instead. Solution: one is to set up two vents in the greenhouse to cool down in time. The second is to manage strictly according to the temperature required during the growing period of all kinds of vegetables and the suitable temperature requirements of each organ during the growing period, so as to prevent high temperature from growing vines without growing fruit.

Myth 4: the plant is strong and growing well. Many people think that the plant is a good crop, but in fact, there is much water, strong leaves and shallow roots, and the yield is low. Excessive vegetative growth will inevitably affect reproductive growth and reduce the yield instead. The solutions are as follows: first, to master the root depth of weak plants in the seedling stage, control water, control plants and promote roots, so that the underground part absorbs about 60% of the photosynthate, and the underground and aboveground absorption accounts for 50% respectively in the middle and later stage; second, the nutrient consumption of the plant accounts for 60% in the early stage, 40% in reproductive growth and 50% in the middle stage. The reproductive growth in the later stage accounts for 60%-70%, while the vegetative growth accounts for only 30%-40%, that is, to ensure a certain assimilation leaf area in the early stage, control the vine and promote fruit in the later stage, and increase the yield.

Misunderstanding 5: frequent administration of medicine, less disease. Many vegetable farmers give medicine every 2 to 3 days in the middle and later stages of vegetable growth, believing that frequent administration of the medicine can prevent the spread of the disease. Solutions: first, to identify diseases, symptomatic spraying, it is best to choose agents containing copper and zinc, which can not only kill bacteria, but also enhance the ability of plants to resist the invasion of bacteria, but also promote crop growth; third, improve the ecological environment, luxuriant branches and leaves, poor ventilation, the effect of medication every day is not necessarily good, should be thinning leaves to reduce dampness; third, for dead seedlings caused by soil-borne bacteria, we should pay attention to the prevention of medication in the seedling stage.

Misunderstanding 6: more stubble, more income. Many people believe that investment in the construction of a greenhouse should not leave the land idle, so the secondary stubble follows the main stubble, the main stubble covers the secondary stubble, and the planting stubble is often used for many times, resulting in poor results and low benefits. Solution: one is to overwintering, it is better to plant one crop a year, and it is appropriate to plant two crops a year in spring and autumn. The old plants of eggplant, pepper and cucumber can be harvested continuously, and when the price is low, the seedlings can be pulled out to dry the land; the second is to stay for a period of time every year in summer to pour rain and salt, sterilize in the sun, kill insects in the greenhouse, and ripen the soil.
