(Agricultural Wealth Network) Weeding is very important in corn growing season, affecting corn harvest, so the use of herbicides has attracted many farmers 'attention. Herbicide varieties commonly used in corn growing period include:

Nicosulfuron-methyl and its compound preparation nicosulfuron-methyl is a herbicide used in corn field after emergence, but its effect on broadleaf weeds is not ideal. At present, nicosulfuron and atrazine are the most widely used herbicides after emergence in corn fields. The herbicide has certain requirements for corn varieties, and the order of safety is horse tooth hard corn> pop corn> sweet corn. Generally, maize is sensitive to this drug before 2-leaf stage and after 10-leaf stage. This kind of herbicide Jin Yucheng, Bai Cao Ku, Yu Cheng, Jin Yu San series products represent the highest level of the current industry.

MCP-Na should be applied at 2~4 leaf stage of maize, maize inbred line is sensitive, maize variety sensitivity test should be done before application, and application period should be strictly controlled. Jiner Nongmu is a compound product of 2-methyl-4-sodium chloride and nicosulfuron, which can eradicate gramineous weeds and broadleaf weeds in corn fields at one time, especially the refractory weed Cyperus rotundus.

Sulfotrione is a new herbicide used in corn field. It can be used in closed treatment or stem and leaf treatment. It is safe to current and subsequent crops, but sweet corn, sticky corn, pop corn and corn inbred lines are sensitive and may cause phytotoxicity. The compound product of mesotrione and atrazine, Jinerbaicaotong, has fast weeding speed and good safety to corn and subsequent crops.

With the adjustment of corn planting structure, sweet corn, sticky corn and pop corn also have certain planting area, and these varieties have poor drug resistance. Special attention should be paid to the selection of herbicides. The herbicides not registered on the above varieties should be tested before use.
