When it is serious, the whole field is white. The zinc-deficient corn plant is short, the internodes are short, the leaf pillows overlap, the heart leaves grow slowly and look flat-topped, and the serious white leaves gradually dry up, even the whole plant dies.

Prevention and control measures:

Increase the application of base fertilizer: give priority to organic fertilizer, supplemented by chemical fertilizer, reasonable fertilization, organic fertilizer must be mature, harmless treatment. About 2500 kg of high-quality organic fertilizer and 1.5 kg of zinc sulfate were applied per mu, which were mixed with organic fertilizer, combined with soil preparation and applied to the soil as base fertilizer.

Seed dressing with zinc fertilizer: every kilogram of corn seeds can be mixed with 20 grams of zinc sulfate, dissolve the fertilizer with a little water, then spray it on the seeds, then mix well, dry and sow the seeds.

Scientific topdressing: mainly extra-root topdressing, which is a good way to apply zinc fertilizer after the discovery of corn "white seedlings". The concentration and dosage of zinc sulfate solution with 0.1% zinc sulfate concentration of 0.2% per mu is 40kg / mu. From the time of corn jointing, the zinc sulfate solution is sprayed every 10 to 15 days for 2 times, and the effect is obvious.
