Sesame is a short sunshine annual crop that likes temperature and fears waterlogging. It is very sensitive to temperature, moisture and sunshine. The total accumulated temperature for the whole growth period of sesame is 2500 ℃ to 3000 ℃, and the sunshine is about 800h. Lower or higher than the above range is disadvantageous to the growth and development of sesame.
