High yield potential of Sesame

The high yield of sesame is relative and varies with time, place and cultivation conditions. For example, the current main production index of white sesame in China can be divided into three types according to the conditions of natural disasters: 75 to 100 kg per mu in the year of poor harvest, 101 to 150 kg in normal year, and more than 150 kg in high yield. Among them, those with more than 150 kg are high yield, and those with more than 200 kg are super high yield. At present, black sesame has only reached 158 kilograms, and no matter how high it is, it has not been reported that the current yield of black sesame is more than 100 kilograms per mu.
