Yield increasing effect and Application method of potassium Fertilizer in Sesame
Under the condition of fixed nitrogen and phosphorus, the per unit yield of sesame increased significantly with the increase of potassium fertilizer. The experiment showed that 7.5 kg potassium oxide was applied per mu, and the yield of sesame seeds per mu was 30.4 kg higher than that of the control. Each kilogram of potassium oxide can increase the yield of sesame seeds by 4 kilograms. The application of 2.5 kg potassium oxide per mu has the best economic benefit. The method of applying fertilizer was as follows: phosphate fertilizer was applied once as base fertilizer, potassium fertilizer was applied once at the beginning of flowering stage, and nitrogen fertilizer (urea) was applied at budding stage and early flowering stage.
