Potassium mainly exists in sesame leaves and stems, accounting for 45.4% of the total and 41.2% of the total in stems. Potassium can promote photosynthesis, accelerate the synthesis and operation of sugars, and promote the absorption of nitrogen. The potassium supply is abundant, the sesame stem is strong, can improve the resistance to lodging and disease. When the potassium fertilizer was insufficient, the photosynthesis of the plant was weakened, the growth was inhibited, and yellow and purple spots appeared at the tip of the lower leaves, resulting in a decrease in yield.
