Generally, for every 50 kilograms of sesame seeds produced, it takes 210 cubic meters of water per mu, and its water demand coefficient is 4200; when the yield is increased to 75 kilograms, it takes 230 cubic meters of water per mu, and its water demand coefficient is reduced to about 3066. This indicates that water demand increases with the increase of yield. But the coefficient of water demand decreases a lot, so high yield water consumption is more economical.
