When transplanting watermelon grafted seedlings, we should pay attention to: first, select grafted seedlings with normal development and eliminate bad seedlings when planting. Second, the grafted seedlings should not be planted too deep, and the grafting interface should be 1 to 2 cm higher than the ground. If this phenomenon is found, its self-rooting should be cut off, and the surrounding soil should be removed from the Hypocotyl to prevent the occurrence of self-rooting. Third, due to the vigorous growth of grafted watermelon seedlings, it should be sparsely planted. Early maturity varieties 600 to 800 plants per mu, middle and late maturity varieties 300 to 500 plants, three or more vines pruning, leaving 1 to 2 fruits per plant.
