Jujube is resistant to drought and waterlogging. It can adapt not only to the annual precipitation of 400mm to 700mm, but also to the precipitation of more than 1000 mm, but it is more suitable in dry areas with less rain. This is because jujube is a light-loving plant, less rain area, sufficient light, conducive to growth and fruiting, and high sugar content in fruit. Jujube flowering requires higher humidity, and the optimum relative temperature is 85%. Air drying during flowering affects pollen germination, which is not conducive to fertilization, while fruit ripening requires less rain and more sunshine, and more rain often leads to fruit cracking.
