Effects of soil conditions on the growth and development of jujube

Jujube has a strong adaptability to soil growth, no matter non-gravel soil, sandy soil, coarse soil, or acidic soil, alkaline soil can be cultivated. The jujube cultivated on sandy soil and gravelly soil has crisp pericarp and better fresh food. Jujube trees on deep and fertile loam soil have high production, stable yield and long life, while trees on barren gravelly soil have small crown, low yield and unstable tree potential. The PH of pH value between 5.5and 8.2is suitable for jujube growth.
