Periods and methods of irrigation for jujube trees

Although jujube is a relatively drought-tolerant fruit tree, it needs sufficient water in three periods. During the sprouting period of ⑴, jujube sprouts late and needs more water for its fast growth, so it should be irrigated once in case of drought, while in the flowering period of ⑵, it should be irrigated once, otherwise the concentration of protoplast in flower organs will be reduced and the fruit setting rate will be affected. When the air is dry in the flowering stage, clear water can be sprayed on the trees, such as spraying 1/1000000 boron solution on the leaves, which can increase the fruit setting rate; ⑶ young fruit rapid growth period: this period is the peak period of water and fertilizer, should be combined with fertilization to ensure the normal growth of young fruit and reduce fruit drop.
