The role of Boron in flowering and Fruit setting of Jujube

Boron is abundant in the stigma of jujube flower, which can promote the absorption of sugar by pollen, activate the metabolic process, stimulate pollen germination and pollen tube growth. The method used is to spray 0.2 to 0.3% borax at flowering stage, which is beneficial to fruit setting, especially in the case of boron deficiency in red soil, the effect is more obvious.
