The injury of elongated branches caused by wind or other reasons stimulated the germination of new elongated shoots in the lower part of jujube. In this case, if the branch needs to be renewed, the damaged branch can be sawed off and a new elongated branch can be left; if there is no room to grow, cut off the injured part together with the overgrown branch. In addition to cutting the branches of diseases and insect pests, they should also be cut around the base of the main branch, 0.5 cm wide and up to xylem, in order to prevent the spread of pathogens such as jujube mad disease. Cut off and burn the branches that are harmful to the insects and cicadas.
