After the jujube tree enters the full fruit stage, the fruiting branch group tends to spread and droop, and the fruiting branch group on the back of the main side branch is easy to overlap with the lower branch group, resulting in overdensity, affecting ventilation and light transmission. The branches that grow downward and have low fruiting ability in these branch groups can be cut off to improve the light conditions. In addition, many weakly developed branches often sprout around the crown, even without secondary branches, or only 1 or 2 short and thin secondary branches. This kind of thin and weak branches should be removed when cutting in winter, so as to reduce the shielding of the outer branches to the light, benefit the fruit of the whole tree, and keep the nutrients of the tree relatively in order to promote the regeneration and growth.
