The adults emerged from March to April next year, mating 2 to 4 days after Eclosion, and spawned mostly on jujube branches. The first generation of larvae occurs in the bud and leaf expansion stage, spinning entangled leaves, hanging, feeding on young leaves, after the second generation, not only harm the leaves, but also eat jujube fruit. In addition to the cocooning and pupation in the leaf bracts in the overwintering generation, the overwintering mature larvae often cocoon and pupate in the bark in order to prevent cold and overwintering.
