Hello, the Ministry of Agriculture issued the immune Technical Specification for highly pathogenic Porcine Blue ear Disease (trial) (hereinafter referred to as the "immune Standard"), which stipulates that the inactivated vaccine against highly pathogenic porcine blue ear disease is only used in healthy pigs and is prohibited in sick pigs within 21 days before slaughter. Immunization norms suggest that farmers should vaccinate pigs according to the epidemic situation of highly pathogenic blue ear disease in pigs. When vaccinating the same pig herd, try to use the same manufacturer and the same batch number of vaccine. The vaccine should be carefully checked before use, and the production enterprise, vaccine batch number and validity period should be recorded in detail, such as package breakage, demulsification stratification, color change and so on. The vaccine should be stored under 2 ℃-8 ℃, restored to room temperature before use (after being removed from the refrigerator for 3 hours), shaken well before injection, and should be used up within the same day after the vaccine is unsealed. The equipment used for inoculation should be sterile; 12 needles should be used when inoculating; one needle per pig to avoid cross-contamination. The inoculation site is intramuscularly injected behind the ear, and the injection site should be strictly disinfected with iodine tincture or 75% alcohol. At the same time, make a good record, the content should include: pig breed, age, sex, such as pregnant sows should also include pregnancy; vaccine source, batch number, vaccination time and so on. After the inoculation is over, the inoculation utensils and all wastes shall be treated innocuously in accordance with the relevant regulations. In terms of inoculation procedure, the piglets were immunized for the first time after weaning with a dose of 2 ml. In the epidemic area of highly pathogenic porcine blue ear disease, the same dose can be used one month after the first immunization according to the actual situation. The vaccination procedure of reserve sows before 70 days of age was the same as that of commercial piglets, and then booster immunization was given one month before delivery, with a dose of 4 ml. Before 70 days of age, the vaccination procedure of breeder boars was the same as that of commercial piglets, and then the intensive immunization was given once every 6 months, with a dose of 4 ml. After vaccination, the reaction of pigs should be carefully observed. Individual pigs may have allergies, and severe pigs can be injected with epinephrine and adjuvant treatment measures can be taken. After inoculation, a small number of pigs may have transient body temperature rise, diet reduction and other reactions, which can recover within 2 days. The immunization standard requires that the inactivated vaccine of highly pathogenic porcine blue ear disease produced by designated enterprises approved by the state must be used, which is affixed with the "two-in-one" vaccine anti-counterfeiting label marked by the "China Veterinary Drug quality Supervision". The above is for reference only.
