From 12 to 13 days after birth, the eyes of young rabbits begin to open until they are weaned, which is called eye-opening period.

Young rabbits grow and develop rapidly after opening their eyes, but breast milk has begun to decrease. Breast milk alone can not meet the growth and development needs of young rabbits, so it is necessary to start feeding in time. The appropriate time to start eating is from 16 to 18 days old. At the beginning of feeding, first feed a small amount of easily digestible and nutritious feed, such as boiled soybean milk, milk, Wotou or rice soup mixed with the mixture, after a few days (at the age of 20 to 25 days), the mixture can be put on a shallow dish and replenished regularly every day.
