In the non-mating season, male rabbits should be given a medium level of nutrition to maintain their breeding condition, neither too fat nor too thin. Overfat male rabbits have low libido, produce imperfect sperm, low conception rate, low ejaculation and low sperm motility, and adjust the diet in time when problems are found. The diet of male rabbits should be reasonably matched with green roughage and concentrate. Each adult male rabbit is fed about 70 grams of concentrate per day, of which protein should account for 15% of the diet, and not less than 500 grams of fine green feed is given every day.
