Characteristics of California Rabbit

California rabbits are native to the United States. Medium size, white coat, ears tip, nose, lower limbs, tail is black, so it is also known as "eight o'clock black". Red eyes, short neck, small ears, plump muscles. It grows fast in the early stage, and weighs 1.8 to 2 kilograms at the age of 2 months. The body weight of adult rabbits is 3.6 to 4.5 kg for males and 3.9 to 4.8 kg for females. The meat production rate is 52%, and the meat is delicate. The female rabbit has gentle temperament, good motherhood and strong lactation ability. Each fetus gives birth to 6 to 8 carefully and the litter size is stable. The adaptability and disease resistance are strong.
