The tooth age identification of cattle is mainly based on the birth and replacement of deciduous incisors and the wear degree of incisors. Calves have a pair of deciduous incisors at birth, and the full length of deciduous incisors is 4 to 5 months after birth. After that, the deciduous incisors begin to fall off, replace permanent teeth, and gradually wear out, the rules are as follows: 1.5 to 2 years old, the first pair of deciduous incisors fall off, replaced permanent teeth, called 2-year-old permanent teeth; 2.5-3 years old, the second pair of deciduous incisors fall off, replace permanent teeth, called 3-year-old two pairs of permanent teeth; 3.5-4 years old, the third pair of deciduous incisors fall off, transplant permanent teeth, called 4-year-old three pairs of permanent teeth From 4.5 to 5 years old, the fourth pair of deciduous incisors fall off and replace permanent teeth, which is called the same mouth; from 6 to 7 years old, bead dots appear in the middle of the first pair of incisors; 7 to 8 years old, bead dots appear in the middle of the second pair of incisors; 8 to 9 years old, bead dots appear in the middle of the third pair of incisors; 10 years old, bead dots appear in the middle of the fourth pair of incisors.
