Production performance of Qinchuan cattle

Qinchuan beef has good performance. This variety is easy to fattening, delicate meat and high lean meat rate. At the medium feeding level, at the age of 18 months, the average daily gain of male, female and castrated cattle was 700g, 550g and 590g respectively, and the live weight before slaughter was 437kg, 366kg and 410kg respectively. The average slaughtering rate is 58%, the net meat rate is 51%, the carcass meat yield is 87%, the ratio of bone to meat is 1: 6, the fat content in the carcass is 11.6%, the meat quality is good, and the marbling is obvious. When fattening to the age of 20 to 24 months, the slaughtering percentage can reach 63%, and the net meat percentage can reach 53%.
