Qinchuan cattle is a large service meat variety, produced in Guanzhong Plain, Shaanxi Province. Among them, Weinan, Lintong, Xianyang, Xingping, martial arts, Ganxian and Chang'an are the most famous.

Qinchuan cattle has the typical characteristics of serving meat cattle with tall physique, strong bones, plump muscles, good development of forequarters and weak development of hindquarters. The whole body coat is mostly purplish red or red, the rims of the eyes and nose are generally fleshy red, and the horns are short and flesh-colored. The neck is slightly shorter, the bull has obvious acromion, and the drooping flesh is well developed. The cow's toenail is low and thin, the shoulders are long and oblique and succulent, the chest is wide and deep, the waist is straight, and the rump is slightly oblique. The limbs are strong and the hooves are hard and round.
