Symptoms: tinea spots are common in the head (orbit, mouth, face), neck and anus of cattle. The plaque begins as a small nodule with gray-white scales on it, gradually expanding to form a round bulge and crusts high above the surface of the skin, shaped like gray-white asbestos-like crusts. The crusts are small, such as coins, and large, such as walnuts or bigger. some crusts can be torn off from the skin due to friction and other reasons, exposing injured skin wounds. In serious cases, the whole body of the cow fuses into large areas or diffuse crusts, and the diseased animals have severe itching and tenderness, showing restlessness, friction, diet and other symptoms.
