Muscovy ducks are prone to feather pecking and feathering during 3 to 7 weeks of age and molting. The solution is to cut off the beak of muscovy ducklings at the age of 2 to 3 weeks. Use a special beak cutter for ducks, or you can use scissors. Beak cutters or scissors should be cauterized before use and removed in the middle of the platypus. It is not suitable for male ducks to break their beaks, but can be prevented by feeding diets containing azo acid, that is, adding 0.2% to 0.4% gypsum powder in the feed, evacuating the density of ducks, shortening the light time and reducing the light intensity.
