Feeding of Muscovy Duck during growing and fattening period

Muscovy ducks are prone to overeating during the growing and fattening period, so they should be properly controlled during feeding. It is best not to feed them with animal feed at night. During the day, ducks should be driven away from exercise every 1 to 2 hours to promote digestion. During the fattening period, exercise should be reduced. Control feeding begins at the age of 9 weeks for male ducks and 7 weeks for female ducks, that is, only 90% to 95% of the free feed intake is given (108 to 123 grams per day for female ducks and 180 to 190 grams for males). When slaughtered at the age of 11 to 12 weeks, the meat has the best taste and nutritional value.
