Maggot pupa is a kind of protein feed with high nutritional value. The protein content in dry matter is 50%-60%, and the fat content is 10%-29%. The production of pupae of poultry or fish, soft-shelled turtles, turtles and shrimp maggots consists of three steps: raising flies, cultivating maggot pupae and separating maggot droppings.

The main results are as follows: (1) the suitable temperature for adult flies to grow and reproduce is 22 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ and the relative humidity is 60%. The feed for adult flies is mostly made of milk powder, sugar and yeast. Chicken manure can also be added to livestock carcasses, or maggot meal and fish meal can be used instead of milk powder. There are square or rectangular fly cages in the culture room, and water cans, bait cans and egg pots are arranged in the cages. Female flies begin to lay eggs 4-6 days after Eclosion. Each female fly lays about 1 000 eggs in its lifetime and its life span is about 1 month. When receiving eggs, use sour milk and bait, add a few drops of dilute ammonia and sugar water, and then add a small amount of ammonium carbonate or chicken manure leachate, soak the cloth or filter paper into the egg collection jar, and the adult flies will lay the eggs on the cloth or filter paper.

(2) Culture of maggots and pupae the temperature in the maggot room should be kept at 22 ℃ ~ 27 ℃, which is relatively wet.

The degree is 41%. The size of the culture plate is based on the principle of convenience. Covered with fresh chicken dung, 5cm to 7cm thick. The amount of chicken manure is 65% and 75%. In order to facilitate ventilation, some wheat straw or rice bran can be properly mixed into chicken manure. 1.3 grams of eggs can be picked up per kilogram of chicken dung. The larval stage is 4-9 days.

(3) the separation of maggot manure usually directly dries maggots and digested chicken manure together as feed. If you want to separate, you can use the characteristics of maggots to avoid light.
