In each large category of ornamental fish, different species have different eating habits. For example, koi is omnivorous fish, no matter for animal bait such as earthworm, silkworm pupa, shrimp, or plant bait such as wheat bran, bean cake, corn flour, green vegetables, fruit and so on. No matter what kind of eating tropical fish, in the fry and larval stage, there must be miniature live bait for its feeding, in order to smoothly develop and grow normally.

Animal natural baits are mainly zooplankton, benthos and insect larvae, which are distributed in freshwater bodies all over China.
