Ecological habits: ecological habits are the same as carp. The genetic character is stable, there is no need for hybrid seed production, and the breeding period is slightly earlier than that of common carp.

Geographical distribution: one of the leading species of pond culture carp in Ningxia. It was introduced into Ningxia in the 1980s.
