How to prevent and cure the common diseases of leather-bearded catfish

1. Prevention and control of infectious fish diseases. 1. Pathogens of similar printing diseases: caused by bacterial infections. Symptoms: the skin is inflamed, forming an oval festering ring and finally forming a plaque. Bones can be exposed in severe cases. Prevention and cure method: sprinkle with 0.1-0.3ppm furazolidone (dysentery) in the whole pool. At the same time, take streptomycin bait with 20,000 units per kilogram of fish. 2. Enteritis pathogen: bacterial disease. Symptoms: the diseased fish showed enlargement of the abdomen, yellow mucus outflow from the abdomen under light pressure, and prominent redness and swelling of the anus. There are erythema and fin decay on the ventral side. Dissection showed hydrops in the abdomen and intestinal congestion and inflammation. Prevention and treatment methods: regularly sprinkle 30-40ppm quicklime to prevent the occurrence of the disease; add 17 grams of Litalin per 100 jin of feed into bait, or add 250g of garlic and 250g of salt to feed; sprinkle 2-3ppm gallnut in the whole pool. 3. The pathogen of furunculosis: it is caused by Aeromonas punctata. Symptoms: abscess appears in the affected muscles of the fish, which is full of pus.

Prevention and cure method: 1ppm bleach or 2ppm gallnut can be sprinkled in the whole pool to prevent the disease. when the disease occurs, the whole pool should be sprinkled with medicine and fed with sulfathiazole bait. On the first day, 10g of sulfathiazole, tmp2g, 0.6g of prednisone and 10g of soda tablets should be used in the first day. The dose was halved from day 2 to day 6. 4. The pathogen of hanging neck disease is caused by bacterial infection. Symptoms: abnormal activity of diseased fish, vertical motionless above head and tail. The fin is congested, the abdomen is swollen, and sometimes round bleeding can be seen on the side of the body and intestines. Prevention and treatment: the whole pool is sprinkled with dysentery or other antimicrobials, while taking bait, 10 grams of oxytetracycline per 100 kilograms of fish, tmp2 grams, continuous feeding for 3-6 days. 5. The pathogen of water mold: it is caused by the invasion and infection of water mold. Symptoms: flocculent white or gray-white filaments appear on the body surface of diseased fish, increased skin mucus, loss of appetite, restlessness, dyskinesia. Control method: sprinkle 0.1-0.2ppm malachite green in the whole pond and feed nystatin bait with 1 million units per 100 kg of fish.

2. Prevention and control of parasitic diseases. 1. Rotifer pathogen: caused by rotifer parasitism. Symptoms: the diseased fish became black and thin, and the pond fish swam and rotated alone and died of exhaustion. Microscopic examination of the body surface of diseased fish showed a large number of rotifers. Prevention and control method: sprinkle 0.7ppm copper sulfate or copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate (5:2) mixture in the whole pool, when the pool water volume is not easy to accurately calculate, the medicine can be divided into two parts and sprinkle again every 24 hours, the effect is good, and it is safer. 2. The pathogen of oblique tube disease: it is caused by the parasitism of oblique tube worm. Symptoms: increased mucus on the body surface, forming a blue-gray film, drifting on the surface of the water, difficulty breathing. Prevention and control methods: same as above. 3. The pathogen of fish bean disease: fish bean worm. Symptoms: no obvious symptoms at the initial stage, severe blackening and emaciation, slow swimming, difficulty breathing, light blue or blue-gray mucus layer on the body surface, light red Gill, hyperemia and inflammation of the epidermis. Prevention and treatment: 0.05% formalin washing diseased fish for 20-30 minutes; treatment of rotifers with the same fish. 4. The pathogen of trichoderma: it is caused by the parasitism of trichoderma. Symptoms: there are proliferative white spots on the body surface and fins of the diseased fish, and in severe cases, there are parasitic erosion and blood spots. Control method: control method of rotifer. 5. The pathogen of myxosporidiosis is caused by myxosporidium parasitism. Symptoms: White punctate cysts can be seen on the body surface, the fish are thin and black, and the activity is slow. Microscopic examination showed that there were a large number of sporozoa in the cysts. Prevention and treatment: 15-30ppm formalin soaked for 30-60 minutes for 7 days. 6. The pathogen of melon disease: melon worm. Symptoms: emaciation, slow swimming and floating on the surface can be seen during a large number of parasites. The adult melon worm can be seen by naked eye observation. Prevention and treatment methods: 2ppm mercurous nitrate immersion for 15-30 minutes, twice a day for 3-5 days. 7. The third generation disease pathogen: the third generation worm. Symptoms: curly tentacles, blackened body color, increased mucus, loss of appetite, weight loss and death. When the lesion site is carefully observed with the naked eye, the activity of the fine hair worm can be seen. Control method: the concentration of 0.3-0.5ppm sprinkled in the whole pool is 90% crystal trichlorfon. 8. The pathogen of finger ring disease: ring worm. Symptoms: increased mucus on the Gill surface, Gill filaments dark gray or pale, difficulty breathing. If you look closely, you can see the white ring worm in action. In severe cases, the operculum opens and dies. Prevention and treatment: the treatment of the same three generations of diseases.
