Symptoms: hyperemia and bleeding on both sides of the body surface of diseased fish, hyperemia of upper jaw and snout, hyperemia and bleeding of fin base and fin membrane, shedding of some scales of seriously affected fish, and some forming ulcer spots. Dissecting the diseased fish, there was congestion in the intestinal wall.

Pathogen: it is a virus, and the specific pathogen needs to be further studied.

Clinical treatment: observe the appearance of symptoms, can make a preliminary diagnosis, the diagnosis should be virological study.

Epidemic situation: the onset season of the disease is from June to November, and the peak epidemic season is from September to October. Both fish and 2-year-old fish can be infected in that year, and once the disease breaks out, there is no effective control method at present. The mortality rate of diseased fish is more than 50%, and in severe cases, it is as high as 80%. The disease has occurred in bass cultured in ponds or cages, such as Laizhou, Shandong and Xiangshan Port, Zhejiang.

Prevention and control methods:

① implements a strict quarantine system to prevent pathogens from being brought in from parent fish or seedlings.

② culture ponds should be thoroughly desilted and sterilized, with 150kg of quicklime per mu or 25kg of bleach (containing 30% available chlorine).

③ stocking seedlings were washed for 10 minutes with 50 mg / L polyvinylpyrrolidone iodine before entering the pool or cage.

④ suitable stocking density and do not feed spoilage fresh bait.
