In marine cage culture of red sea bream, this may happen: black spots appear on the caudal handle or the base of dorsal fin, and spread rapidly forward and backward, so that the whole body color turns black, Gill turns pink, mucus increases, and in severe cases, the head is downward, the caudal fin is upward, approximately perpendicular to the surface of the water, and soon dies. Microscopic examination shows that there are a large number of rotifers in the diseased fish, so the disease is called rotifer.

Prevention and control methods:

(1) special attention should be paid to avoid scratching the fish body of cultured red sea bream when carrying out net-pulling, transportation and other operations.

(2) in the susceptible season, copper sulfate and bleach can be used to hang bags to achieve the purpose of prevention or disinfection.

(3) wash the diseased fish with copper sulfate 8ppm and ferrous sulfate 10ppm for 10 minutes.

(4) adding appropriate amount of oxytetracycline to the formula feed to feed the red sea bream.

It was found that the Gill filaments were rotten and whitish in the cultured red sea bream, which was a bacterial Gill rot disease. At the same time, the Gill attached sludge and mucus, the Gill epidermis rotted seriously, the Gill filament tip cartilage was exposed, the body color became black, and the head was especially dark.

Prevention and control methods:

(1) keep the water quality of aquaculture fresh and prevent sea water pollution.

(2) sprinkle regularly with 1ppm bleach in the whole box, or hang bags with bleach around the bait table.

(3) sprinkle with 1.5~2ppm Fumei in the whole box.
