one。 Strengthen the feeding and management of sows

During the empty period, the second trimester of pregnancy and the later stage of lactation, the sows are fed more coarse feed and green feed properly; in the early and later stages of pregnancy, there is an adequate supply of protein, mineral and vitamin-rich concentrate and green succulent feed in the early stage of lactation, at the same time, sows should be provided with a relatively stable living environment to reduce external stimuli such as herding, driving and fighting as much as possible.

two。 Reasonable arrangement of sow breeding season

It is best to choose April-May mating, September-October re-breeding, and repeated cycle, so that sows can mate and give birth in spring and autumn to avoid the cold and hot winter and summer environment.

three。 Breeding at the right time.

In general, at 19-30 hours after estrus, when the redness and swelling of the vulva of the sow begins to subside and there is a filamentous mucus outflow, when the hindquarters of the sow are pressed to stand still, the sows should be mated at the age of 7 months to 8 months and weighing more than 100 kilograms.

four。 The correct breeding method and ensuring the quality of semen,

Double matching (that is, the first match at an interval of 12 hours) must be adopted, which can significantly increase the conception rate and litter size. If artificial insemination is used, the semen of healthy superior breeding boars and sows must be selected. Each milliliter of semen requires more than 40 million sperm, sperm motility above 0.6, and equipment should be strictly sterilized. First wash the vulva of the sow with 0.01% KmnO4 liquid, then slowly insert the vas deferens into the cervix to 20 cm-30 cm, then connect the insemination syringe and slowly inject 20 ml.

Fifth, record the mating situation in detail to avoid inbreeding.

VI. Do a good job in the prevention and control of epidemic diseases

The prevention and treatment of epidemic diseases should be carried out in pig farms, especially the prevention of Japanese encephalitis, epidemic infection, brucellosis and other diseases. If there is a sign of abortion, you should immediately inject 15 mg-25 mg of progesterone and take sedatives internally to calm the fetus.

7. Do a good job in sow delivery and litter production

For 5-10 days before delivery, clean the birth circle, spray and disinfect the sow's abdomen, breast and vulva with 10% Murray and 20% fresh lime water. Before labor, disinfect the sow's abdomen, breast and vulva with 2% Lysol solution. After giving birth, the sows remove the mucus from the piglets' nose and rip off the fetal membrane. First aid can be used for fake dead piglets by slapping on the chest, lifting hindlimbs and pungent alcohol. It is necessary to do a good job of midwifery for dystocia sows to make them give birth smoothly. In addition, heat preservation is particularly important for newborn piglets. When piglets are born, the temperature in the delivery house must be maintained at 26 ℃-32 ℃ and 26 ℃-28 ℃ from week to weaning.

8. Weaning piglets and breeding sows during lactation:

Piglets were weaned from 35 days old to 40 days old. In general, sows are given an aphrodisiac 3-5 days after weaning. After sows are in estrus, breastfeeding should be carried out immediately in order to increase the number of births per year.
