Vegetable leaves are used for asexual reproduction, such as cabbage, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, mustard, radish and rape, and the seedling rate is as high as 80% and 90%. The plants survived by cuttings had mild disease, high seed collection and stable genetic characters of their offspring. The leaf cutting cultivation techniques are as follows:

Production of seedbed: seedbed requires high terrain, smooth drainage, good ventilation, flat bed, loose and fertile soil, covered with a layer of yellow sand 1-2 cm thick, becoming a sand-mud double-layer seedbed.

Select the mother plant: select the excellent plant without diseases and insect pests with the characteristics of this variety as the seed mother plant, cut with the leaves in the middle of the leaf ball, the base of the petiole should be attached with axillary buds and some fractional tissue, and when the axillary buds do not germinate, the incision should leave the center of the base of the petiole. In hormone treatment, the incision in the lower part of the leaf stem was immersed in the indole acetic acid solution with the concentration of 2000ppm for 2-3 seconds, and then immediately removed, pay attention to the axillary buds can not be soaked in the solution, so as not to inhibit germination.

Leaf cuttage: leaves can be cut on the seedbed after dipping in hormone solution, the bed temperature is kept at 15-25 degrees, the humidity is maintained at 70% MUE 80%, to avoid direct sunlight, and it can take root and sprout 7-8 days after sowing.

Transplanting: after the leaves took root and sprouted, they were transplanted into a nutrition bowl, and the values were set in the middle and late February of the following year, and the seeds were isolated in the field, with a row spacing of 54 × 60 cm, and the field management was the same as that of ordinary seeds.
