   coccidiosis is generally diagnosed according to clinical symptoms and pathological changes of intestinal tract. The diagnosis can be examined with a microscope.

Symptoms:

The sick chicken has depressed spirit, fluffy feathers, curled head, loss of appetite, full of liquid in the crop, anemia and pallor in the crown and visual mucosa, and gradual emaciation. Diseased chickens often discharge red carrot-like faeces. If infected with Eimeria tenella, the feces are brown at the beginning, and then become completely bloody feces. If measures are not taken in time, the fatality rate can reach more than 50%. If a variety of coccidia mixed infection, the stool with blood, and contains a large number of exfoliated intestinal mucosa.

Acute coccidiosis: mental, loss of appetite, increased appetite; rough coat; diarrhea, often with blood in feces; anemia, visible mucosa, chicken crown, pallor of meat droop; dehydration, skin shrinkage; decline in production performance; serious cases can cause death, the mortality rate can reach 80%, generally 20-30%. The healers grow slowly.

Chronic coccidiosis: seen in a small number of coccidiosis, as well as weak pathogenicity of coccidiosis (such as heap, giant Eimeria). Diarrhea, but mostly without blood. The production performance decreased and the susceptibility to other diseases increased.

The prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in    chickens: Qiusuke (mainly composed of sulfaquinoline sodium), Shiqiu 100 (mainly composed of Changshan, Xianhe grass and other Chinese herbs), and coccidiosis sweeping (mainly composed of diazolide). If these drugs can be taken one course of treatment (5 days) at the age of 2 weeks and 4 weeks respectively, they can prevent coccidiosis.
